How it works

How Habiboo works, step by step

Habiboo is a Muslim marriage app. You sign up and complete a live selfie check, choose who can see your photos, then meet people who are looking for marriage too. If you wish, a wali can guide introductions along the way.

Sign up and prove you are you

Tell us about yourself, confirm your phone number or email, add your photos and complete a short live selfie check. Every member does this, so you know the people you meet have been through the same step.

  • A live selfie check for every member
  • Profile photos pass automatic safety checks
  • Protection against fake and misleading accounts

Decide who sees what

Your photos are yours to share on your terms. Blur them, then choose who may see them, so you can introduce yourself with modesty and confidence.

  • Blur your photos
  • Choose who can see them
  • Report or block anyone at any time

Meet people looking for marriage

Browse profiles of people who share your intention, narrow them down with filters that matter to you, and like the ones you would like to know. Fair daily limits keep introductions considered rather than endless.

  • Everyone is there for marriage, not casual dating
  • Filters for what matters to you
  • Fair daily limits on some actions

Match and talk with respect

When two people like each other, it is a match, and a conversation opens. Take your time, ask what matters to you, and say clearly that you are looking for marriage. If you would like family involved, your wali can guide introductions from their own account.

  • Conversations open only after a mutual match
  • A wali can join at any time
  • Your wali never needs your password

Meet with your families

When you both feel ready, invite each other's families to meet. Meeting is a real-life step outside the app, held with parents or walis present, so you are never on your own at the first meeting.

  • Families meet together, never in private
  • Move at a pace that feels right to you
  • Bring the conversation from Habiboo into your family home

What stays the same at every step

Marriage first

Habiboo is built for Nikah, with respect from the first introduction.

You control your privacy

Your photos and your choices stay in your hands.
