For walis and families

Wali support and accounts for Muslim marriage

Habiboo is a marriage-first Nikah app where the wali is a real part of the process, not an afterthought. Seekers can start alone or with family, and a wali can guide up to five seekers from one account.

Free for seekers. Walis choose a plan only for the family tools.

The basics

What is a wali account?

A wali account is for the family member who supports someone on their journey to marriage: a father, mother, brother, uncle, grandfather or another trusted relative. It gives them their own login and the tools to help, right inside the app.

Every family does this differently. Habiboo simply gives walis and seekers a modern, private place to do it their way.

Why it matters

Family involvement should never feel like an afterthought

Many people who want their family involved tell us the same story: the wali is added at the end, watches from a distance, or is mentioned and the conversation goes quiet. Habiboo was built so the wali has a place from the start.

A role, not a spectator

A wali with their own account can take part in the conversation, instead of reading a summary after the fact.

A normal part of the product

Habiboo is built for marriage, so involving a wali is simply how the product works, not an awkward question you have to raise.

Everything in one place

No need to move conversations to private channels to bring family in. The chat, the profile and the wali all live in the app.

How it works

A wali account, in four steps

  1. 1

    Create or link a seeker

Set up a new seeker account for a son, daughter, sibling or relative, or link a seeker who already uses Habiboo.

  2. 2

    Choose how involved to be

Manage the account yourself at first, or share access so the seeker can sign in too, whichever suits your family.

  3. 3

    Act as the seeker

Switch into act-as mode to read conversations, reply, like or skip profiles and manage the seeker's profile. Messages you send are marked as coming from the wali.

  4. 4

    Hand over when ready

Unlink when the seeker is ready to continue alone. The account carries on with all its progress intact.

Every family is different

Your family, your pace

In some families the seeker searches and the wali is consulted. In others the wali leads the search. Many are somewhere in between. Habiboo supports all three, and you can change your mind as you go.

Together

Seeker and wali both have access, so they can follow introductions side by side.

Wali-led

The wali manages the account and the search, then hands it over when the time is right.

Each seeker is linked to one wali at a time. This keeps responsibility clear and the conversation simple for everyone involved.

Trust and transparency

Clear to everyone who is in the conversation

When a wali replies, the person on the other side can see it. No one is left guessing who they are speaking with, which keeps conversations honest and respectful.

Habiboo also protects the seeker with the same tools every member has: photo blur controls, automatic photo checks, and easy reporting and blocking. When the seeker joins with their own account, they complete their own selfie check.

Plans

Free for seekers. Simple for walis.

Seekers can use Habiboo's core experience without paying. Walis choose the plan that fits their family.
