Terms of Service

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Habiboo mobile application and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Habiboo is a matrimonial and matchmaking platform. Habiboo does not provide marriage brokerage services, and we do not guarantee that you will find a match.

2. Who We Are

The Service is operated by Habiboo Ltd.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You agree not to create accounts for others or to impersonate any person.

4. Account Types (Seeker and Wali)

Habiboo supports different account roles:

• Seeker: an individual seeking a match.
• Wali: a guardian who may manage one or more Seeker accounts.

If you are a Wali, you agree to use the Service only with appropriate consent and authority for any Seeker account you manage.

5. Acting as a Seeker (Wali)

Where the Service allows it, a Wali may act on behalf of a Seeker account (for example, updating profile information or managing settings). Walis must not use this capability to mislead other users or to violate these Terms.

We may log account actions for security, safety, fraud prevention, auditing, and customer support.

6. User Content

You are responsible for the content you provide on Habiboo, including photos, profile text, and messages (“User Content”). You must ensure that your User Content is lawful, accurate, and does not infringe the rights of others.

By submitting User Content, you grant Habiboo a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, modify (for formatting), display, and distribute your User Content for the purpose of operating, improving, and promoting the Service (to the extent permitted by law).

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, abuse, stalk, defame, or discriminate against others.
• Post or send content that is illegal, hateful, sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise inappropriate.
• Solicit money, attempt fraud, or use the Service for commercial purposes without our written consent.
• Use bots, scrapers, or automated methods to access the Service or collect data.
• Attempt to bypass security measures or gain unauthorized access to accounts or systems.
• Share another user’s personal information without their consent.

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. When objectionable content or abusive behaviour is reported, we act within 24 hours to remove the content and to suspend or permanently remove (eject) the responsible user. We may also remove content, restrict features, or suspend/terminate accounts for any violation of these Terms.

8. Subscriptions, Payments, and Refunds

Some features may require paid subscriptions or in-app purchases. Purchases on iOS are processed by Apple, and purchases on Android are processed by Google, unless we clearly state otherwise.

Subscriptions may renew automatically unless canceled through your App Store / Google Play account settings. Refund eligibility and processing are handled by the store provider and governed by their policies, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time through the app. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms, pose a safety risk, or misuse the Service.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Habiboo disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Habiboo does not conduct background checks and does not guarantee the identity, intentions, or conduct of any user. Use caution when interacting with others, and report suspicious activity through the Service.

11. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law (including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation).

Subject to the above, to the maximum extent permitted by law, Habiboo will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from your use of the Service.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms, except where mandatory local consumer laws provide otherwise.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the “Last Updated” date. If changes are material, we may also provide notice through the app or via email.
